Our Facilities

There’s no need for “roughing it.”  You can pamper yourself even while you explore the great outdoors.

With four bedrooms, each with a private bath, the Aspens Lodge can easily accommodate a party of 8 to 10 persons, ideal for a small family reunion or other gathering of friends.  Modern and rustic decor seamlessly meld together with a fully equipped kitchen, dining, and living area to ensure that you will not lack in creature comforts.

Each of the bedrooms are seasonally themed and feature different natural woods.  The Spring Room features a unique, natural aspen queen bed; the Summer Room has handmade willow headboards on two twin beds and a willow sofa; the Fall Room features two pine twin beds and a futon couch that opens to a double bed; and the Winter Room features handmade barn wood furniture and a sleeper sofa.

Throughout the lodge, fine artwork, photography, and ceramics also highlight nature’s beauty.  A balcony in front and a deck in the back allow you to immerse yourself in nature without taking more than a few steps, and they are a great place to stargaze at night.  Whether inside or out, nature is always close at hand.

Things to Do

With the great outdoors just outdoors, The Aspens Lodge is an ideal base for your active lifestyle.

Whether you’ve felt the wilderness calling or a desire to explore expansive Forest Service tracts by doing some high altitude cruising, we’ve got you covered.  During warmer weather, you can get out and explore the truly great outdoors surrounding The Aspens Lodge by horseback riding or pack trips arranged with nearby outfitters, bicycling, running (including trail running), exploring OHV trails (rentals are available in Meeker), fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking, and paddle boarding.  Spring Cave located nearby at South Fork Campground even offers options for those who wish to explore underground terrain. The lodge provides convenient access to some of area’s prime hunting.  During the winter, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling are all possibilities that are immediately at hand.
